Observation of "Comet of the Century - Comet ISON"

After many hits and trials, on the survival of Comet ISON, after it's close suicidal encounter with Sun, flying at 1.2 million km's above it's surface, facing +2000 degrees centigrade of temperature, the bright tail of comet gradually vanished on 28th of November. Scientists consented that the nucleus of comet  might have vaporized in Sun's enormous temperature, but next day, something was seen beyond the Sun.!! An emerging and brightening remnants of comet ISON, on 29th November 2013 (Indian timings), as the SOHO image revealed. A ray of hope to see the comet's bright tail is still there. Before coming to any final conclusion, let's wait for some days/hours. The orbit of comet has been a Roller coaster ride. There is possibility of Comet shining bright again. In case it does, the crowd will have an outstanding celestial show, in the upcoming week of December. Though the probability is less, Sky trackers and Astronomy researchers club, doesn't want a stone to be left unturned, in becoming a witness of this lifetime celestial show. Hence the club is going to conduct special, "Sky trackers and astronomy researchers club special ISON observation campaign (STARCSIOC), from first to third December' 2013. The Observation will be done with the help of unaided eyes, telescopes, binoculars, and other optical aids (If needed). How to watch

Never look directly at the sun with your naked eyes. You can damage your eyes. Likewise, viewing the sun with either binoculars or a telescope can direct the sun's magnified rays directly into your eyeball and cause serious injury―think about what happens to ants under a magnifying glass. Sunglasses do not provide sufficient protection. If you know someone who works in plumbing or construction, ask them if they have any #14 welder's glass. You can look directly at the sun through this material without risking injury.

If you have a tripod or a partner and a pair of steady hands, you can use binoculars to project an image of the Sun onto a white piece of paper. Remember, don't look through your binoculars at the sun!

STAR Astronomy club
is taking all the necessary precautions with high quality badder solar filters, solar goggles, Projection method to make the event a great success without any harm. We urge the entire population not to look through X rays or ways which are harmful for your eyes. Be safe.. And enjoy the view with any Local astronomy club.!
